Surface treatment for aluminum

I would like to know, what are the surface treatments available (or that are used) for aluminum alloy precisely Al-Mg-Si (Aluminum 6063 alloy).
2- the kinds of surface treatments that increases the reliability of the material in question under fatigue service conditions.
3- how those grain refiners (Al-5Ti-1B) affect the surface treatments of aluminum alloy?

I need technical answers to the above questions as I am a finalist in the university , and these will help me in my project work, i.e my final year project work.
