-----Is there any hexavalent chromium on finished plated products?
Is there even a small possibility for hexavalent chromium to remain on a piece that has been plated, rinsed, dried and finished? Could a finished plate have a trace of Cr6 on it?

Jimmy, you asked me this question in private and I replied that when you post it: "... please tell us who you are, what you do, and what real-world situation motivates the question".
Because, yes, anything is possible; there is a small possibility for hexavalent chromium to be on a piece that has been plated, or for a mouse or a piece of a finger to be in your chili. But there's also a possibility for concentrated sulfuric acid to remain on a piece if you electropolish it instead of chrome plating it. So what is your situation, and the point? Thanks!
