Need photo etching on mylar

How do I photographically etch a picture of a specific woodgrain or material pattern and etching it in correct detail into a mylar anywhere from .003 - .007 of an inch deep? Is there someone in N.H. perhaps or this New England region that could perform this service for me? The mylars are laid over or laminated onto a sheet of aluminum, usually about 12 w x 36" L. Thank you.

Contact a reputed mold texturing house. There's one at Ohio that claims to have invented and patented a method to engrave plastic resin prototypes. They might be able to help.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
