What are the various names that apply to the Iridite process?
Alan D Klein - Wichita, Kansas, USA ^
Iridite is a Macdermid trade name for a range of chromate conversion processes, and probably a few non-chromate ones too. Probably the most common application is for Mil-C-5541 [link is to free spec at Defense Logistics Agency, dla.mil] chromate conversion coating of aluminum, but also conversion coatings on zinc and cadmium, etc. Please frame your question in terms of your own situations. Thanks.
