-----Info please on graphitic corrosion rates of grey cast iron with time
Approximately 150 year old cast iron dock structures have naturally suffered heavy rust build up and graphitisation following intermittent exposure and immersion in sea water. I'm looking for assistance in deciding whether corrosion rates will increase or decrease or remain the same from now on. Particularly whether graphite/rust deposits would arrest the rate.
