Chrome REVERSE ETCH QUESTIONS

I RUN A CONTINUOUS HARD CHROME PLATER...USING A CLEANER... ACID SALTS ...THEN PLATING .. I AM BUILDING A TEST ''DIP TANK'' AND AM LOOKING FOR INFO. ON REVERSE ETCHING ....CAN IT STRIP CHROME ..PAINT ..RUST ..ETC ANY HELP WOUD REALLY SAVE ME A LOT OF EXPERIMENTAL TIME ...THANK YOU JIM

Hi, Jim . The chrome etch is intended to give tooth to the surface you are chrome plating. I don't think it's a proper paint remover or rust remover.
