Cyanide free alkaline copper
I am considering the use of a Cyanide free alkaline copper plating process prior to nickel, chrome over diecast zinc alloy. I have not read where this environmentally friendly process is taking the world by storm. Is anyone using this type of process successfully within a mass production environment?
Thanks in advance.Lionel Myers

Some time ago I tried to replace the cyanide copper strike on a copper, nickel, chrome line with a non-cyanide strike. The problems I encountered were varied and may not apply to your process, but it did not fit what I needed. I can give you some information on the type of process I used if you like.
