Can anyone point me to any web sites from which I can print out Military Specification MIL-C-5541E (chem film)? Thanks, Mike

Our FAQ on mil specs list a number of sites where you can do this. Good luck,

The Department of Defense now has a web site at www.dodssp.daps.mil. The site only allows download if you have an account which can be attained by downloading the ASSIST Online registration form and sending it into Philadelphia. They will get back to you with a account number and a password which will allow dowload access.

The main thing with this site is its FREE.... Not all Mil-specs are available yet but they are working on them everyday. Good luck.

That site is now http://assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch/fsc_quicksearch.cfm and no registration is required anymore.

This service is especially convenient for our offshore competitors because the US government taxes American small business to give this free leg up to our competitors around the world -- just one more little step towards making sure the playing field is impossibly biased against made in America :-)
