Abrasion resistance of anodize coatings

Purchased anodized aluminum parts, when placed in a bowl feeder, the surface marred. What tests are available to test the integrity of an anodize coating?

I guess it is possible that the surface of the vibrator bowl is too hard for the anodized parts and is scratching them, W., but please see letter #1870 -- because my hunch is that the situation is just exactly the reverse. Regards,
