Dear Mr. Moustafa,

There are plenty of books on Corrosion which address the basics of Polarization studies and cyclic voltammetry.

Application notes are available with Gamry Instruments and e.g., & G Princeton Applied Research. These companies deal with electrochemical instruments for corrosion testing. You can get the required informations there also.

Irreversible cyclic voltammogram. Some of the electroactive species gives peak on forward scan but not in reverse scan are known as irreversible systems, but their are species which gives peak at both the forward and reverse scan but in anodic side. how can we explain this.
