Questions about TIN plating Magnesium electronic housings

We are designing an electronic enclosure and have the following questions about using AZ31B-H24 Magnesium:

1.) Is TIN plating the best solution for corrosion control and electrical conductivity required of Magnesium electronic housings? SAE ARP1481 standard suggest TIN plating for electronic housings. The exterior surfaces will be painted but the inside and surfaces that will be in contact with the cover can be un-painted. (The TIN I assume makes good electrical contact with our 5000 series aluminum cover.)

2.) Are there other solutions for coating Magnesium (it must provide corrosion protection and have good electrical conductivity with 5000 series aluminum.)

I will appreciate any suggestions or comments.

Thank you
