Painting Thickness

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if there is any accurate way of measuring the thickness of paint on a surface, ( both flat and curve surface). Using paint chip (sticker)?

What is the procedure of conversion Coating (chromating before spray paint) for Aluminium 6061, and ADC.

Step 1. Degreasing
Step 2. Water Rinse
Step 3. Water Rinse
........ etc.

After Conversion Coating (Chromating), what is the maximum time frame in which I need to
spray paint after chromating? I not, then what will happen, and also if spray paint is done after a few days or weeks after chromating, what can I do to get the best effect for chromating, even after a few days.
