A. Many people refer to Mechanical Galv to ±60um of zinc as cold galv. This is a process whereby zinc dust is applied with kinetic energy due to a rotating rubber lined barrel.
The process is cold but can deposit high thickneses of zinc or zinc alloys.

Q. Sir,

I am a vocational trainee chemical engg.student.

The product we basically made here is corrugated steel sheets.
problem areas

1.actually when the strip after coming from furnace after goes to the zinc bath(chemical composition- 95% zinc,4.5% aluminium, rest is antimony, lead and tin)

the problem is we have to charge more this material(chem. comp. given above)say 500kg per day instead of 400 kg per day so where this error taking place. temp maintained at 454 Centigrade

so basically what factors are effecting this cause
what have to be done to prevent this.

Please refer me some name of some books so I can understand it some what more clearer

so that I can also write in my project report

waiting for you reply.
