"What causes unsatisfactory copper coating on a steel wire rod?"
I'm a student attached to industry, currently work to find out what has caused the unsatisfactory copper coating problem on a steel wire rod. the appearance of the wire rod is pale thus affecting its quality. (The wire rod is drawn from 5.5 mm to 1.0 mm)Beryl Victoria Chua

Plating is a complex process, Beryl, Would you expect to be able to write to a doctor and tell him/her only that you were pale and be told what the problem is?
Is the thickness up to spec? Is the color saturation a part of the quality specification, in that you say it's pale "thus" there is a quality problem, or is there an additional quality problem? If so, what is that problem? Is the copper plating bath a fluoborate type or what? Unfortunately, you are a long way from being able to get help on this problem at this rate. Good luck with it though.
