Q. What materials(chemicals)are used for electroplating zinc-zamac?
I'm looking to electroplate our product and I need this information for my knowledge.

A. Hi Czaba. Zinc / zamac can be electroplated with any of the plateable metals including nickel, chrome, zinc, tin, copper, silver, gold, and about 15 other less common ones, as well as alloys like brass. It really depends on what decorative look and functional needs you are trying to satisfy.
