After silver plating, pls try
first, 4 gr/lt Na K tartrate
2x rinsing
5% acetic acid on eBay or Amazon [affil link]
2x rinsing
You will see difference or if it is not enough for you, you can go to electropassivation with 0.5 amp/dm2
