Polishing of stainless steel 304

I have a 2 feet high sculpture made from stainless steel 304 sheets. The exterior finish of sculpture is getting dull. I want to make the finish as matte finish which will remain as it is for longer perid without doing anything to it. is there any solution? what is the procedure to do it?
