Dip Spin Galvanizing

We are operating a Galvanizing plant for fasteners ,clips and pressed components. We are having trouble in controlling the coating thickness especially with threaded parts and have to manually shave off excess applied. Can you help us in suggesting a method to control this problem. Also is there a barrier coating (non chromate) available which can be used as a top coat to prevent the Zinccoating from oxidising.

Sir,

You have not stated the thicknesses needed for "GO'. However for uniform Zinc coating please examine Alkaline Cyanide free Zinc plating which is the most uniform zinc plating method available. This works very well for applications of the type you have mentioned. A Chennai based firm has the solutions.
