Looking for specification ASTM A164

I have owned my company and been in zinc plating for two years. I am wondering why it is so difficult to find certian zinc specifications. My chemical suppliers have been helpful but I would like to use the internet for a faster response. I never seem to find a complete description of the requested spec. requirements. For instance I am trying to find ASTM A 164-71 Spec at the time with no results. Can anyone help me?

Hello Diana. ASTM specs are available from www.astm.org and commercial clearinghouses, but they are copyrighted and not free. That particular spec, A164, has been withdrawn and replaced by ASTM B633. Good luck.
