Removimg brown oxide from aluminum

We have some aluminum machined parts made with 6061 alum that have a brown oxide from a heating process. Is there a solution on the market that will brighten the alum again?

The machine tool must have been dull to have heated enough to tarnish the manganese in the 6061.Clean off the organic soil, rinse, dip in any proprietary "deoxidizer" solution or just 30% Nitric Acid.
