Standards in Cu-Ni-Cr plating

Is there is any specified standards for NSS for Cu-Ni-Cr plating to be coated. For example If we coat about 2 microns of Cu - 12 microns of Ni - .2 microns of Cr on steel how long it will withstand for the NSS Test.

Hello Shridhar,Nickel Chrome Plating is normally tested for Copper Accelerated Salt Spray Test and not for Neutral Salt Spray Test. However it is not uncommon to find customers asking for NSS. The comparision between either is subjective and one can hazard any kind of guess, say 1 : 4 for example?
