Tin plating




We are supplying fuse holders to electrical and electronic industry. Plated connects are used for fuse holder.The detail is -Sn - 8 micron over coating.Ni - 2 micron under coating.I am having one doubt that if plating brightness increases, it will affect to the solderability of connect ?what is the diff between Vibratory plating and barrel plating ?what is the normal productivity of these method ?which method is best ? and why ?Please clarify my doubts.Waiting for your reply.With best hopes

Hello Mr Rao,a. The higher brightness may affect the ductility and solderability to a nominal extent.b. Vibratory barrels are not available in India and Barrel plating is the common procedure used by most platers as it is fast and cheap.
