I want to clean my E.P Brass tray. Should I use brass or silver polish?

I was doing some searching on what to use to clean EP Brass. I have tried silver polish as well as Arm & Hammer

and aluminum. It did work a little but did not give the results I was hoping for. Any advise or tips would be appreciated.

Karen, are you saying this tray is made of brass and is electroplated with silver? If the surface is brass, use brass polish; if the surface is silver, use silver polish.
Lorraine, to clean silver you may want to view letter 4785 again. I did that aluminum foil and washing soda

procedure myself just this week and it works well. The hotter the water, the better. But it's possible that there is not much silver left on the item; you may want to send it to a shop to be electroplated again.
