Bright tin plating over nickel plating

On our flex pcbs,we require a lead free plating which withstands environmental testing.Since tin plating is not reliable,we wish to do tin over nickel both electrolytic platings. Can you advise me whether this is ok?

Dear Mr Joginadham,

I don't see any problem as why you can't except for the fact that a Nickel undercoat may make your flexible PCB's much less flexible.

A better substitute for tin will be Trialloy (white bronze) instead.
