Corrosion servicablility of zinc plating

We currently use a zinc finish for our product, and have recently had inquiries about the life span for corrosion protection in an outdoor environment. I was wondering if any one knew of any data that I may be able to show my customer.

Life almost proportional to thickness and very dependent on tytpe of atmospheric exposure. According to ASM Comitee on Zinc plating average life for 0.001" as follows: rural-15 years, marine-7, mild industrial-4, severe industrial-3.
