How to Paint Oven Doors

I'd like to paint the doors of our built in oven to match the other appliances. They are now porcelain. Does anyone know of a method to do this?

Firstly, you need to determine if your doors are solid porcelain or if they are coated, if they are solid you will need to get them sandblasted (to remove the current glaze/color) and then reglazed with the appropriate color.

Honestly if they are just porcelain coated I don't have an answer, metal and clays expand and contract at different rates, you could try the same process as above, but I'd expect the coating to fracture badly.

Did you ever determine how to paint porcelain ovens. I need to change mine from copper to black...
