Chrome coating on stainless steel 304 grade




We are manufacturing wire baskets in stainless steel 304 grade. We like to do chrome coating. Pl give us the process method.

Hello Mr. Iyer. Normally we could recommend a few books on chromium plating to get you started. But depending on what these baskets are like (wire mesh vs. perforated metal, etc.), it may not be possible or practical to chrome plate them. I think you should contact a chrome plating shop about whether it is even feasible, rather than investing months in learning the process, only to hear that it can't work :-)
