-----Student needs help on nanometer diamond composite electroless plating
Hello, I am trying to incorporate the nanometer diamond powder into the electroless plating. Although the nanometer diamond particles has aggregated due to its large specific surface, it is easy to decrease its particle size less than 1 micrometer by ultrasonic vibration.
The problem is that it is very difficult to increase the nanometer diamond content of the deposited layer above 1 wt%. And I think the content of 2 wt% or more is suitable to enhance the properties of the deposited layer.
The mechanical and air purging agitation have been tested but showed little effect.
The bath used is acidic, and the conditions are pH 4.60, 89 centigrade.
Any information regarding the composite electroless plating including the effect of some surfactant will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

There are many patents covering composite plating, are you using ultrasonics in order to avoid infringing on some of the patents?
