-----MATTE FINISH FOR STAINLESS STEEL 304
Q. We want the following information from any experienced persons.
We want to give a matt(rough) finish to stainless steel 304; please give the solution (chemicals) detail for this.
Whether chemical dipping is ok or we have to use electric current for giving this finish?
the material is SS304 sheet.

A. I would think a very easy way to get a finish you are looking for is abrasive blasting. You can control the grit size, the pressure and the time.

A. Here is a product you can use to obtain matte finish to SS steel:
"Steelmatt" from Arya Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd., Ahmedabad.
Obtain and carefully follow the MSDS.
