Tinplate Current

In the electrolytic production of tinplate (tin onto sheet steel), what current is generally used in today's industry, when the electrolyte used is the standard tin fluoborate electrolyte?

Durney's Electroplating Engineering Handbook this on eBay, AbeBooks, or Amazon [affil link] gives a range of 2.5 to 12.5 Amperes/square decimeter (A/dm2). It would not be bad to do all your calculations at 10 A/dm2, to make it easy to multiply and divide for the actual current.

I work for a tinplate producer in Indonesia as engineer. I would like you to give me information about the best additive cleaner for our electrolytic tinning line (ETL). Our ETL system is Ferrostand and we only use caustic soda ⇦liquid caustic soda in bulk on Amazon [affil link] in our cleaning section. We looking for additive cleaner to be increase cleaning process effectively. Your attention will be highly appreciated.

Yours faithfully,
