-----EA934 Bond Removal
I have an assembly that was built 4 years ago. A 7075-T6 part was installed on another 7075-T6 part using EA934. This ass'y also contains a graphite epoxy part in close proximity. I will have to remove the first 7075-T6 part by machining, solvent or heat. I don't want to damage the composite part w/ heat or solvent and matching will be tedious and expensive. I'm considering using an electrical current across the bond to heat it, i.e., tig welder. Does anyone know of a good way to remove this part, w/o machining?
