I am an industrialist . I want to know which are the other economical means of heating (Other than steam) which can be used in case of Dryer of Pickling line and degreasing line in a cold rolling line complex.

Hi Bishnu !

Not being a plater, I haven't the slightest clue about what you want to dry.

My experience relates to drying radiator cores just after they have been fluxed and prior to entering the 'sealing' oven.

There we used an ordinary, non heated air stream albeit at a pretty high velocity. This was in Ontario.

The airstream travelling around 6,000 fpm (30 M/sec) then went into a blade type horizontal eliminator to remove/capture the liquid and thence, not to the outdoors, but back again into the fan, ie. complete recycle mode, the good old K.I.S.S. principle.

This might give some ideas ... but then it might not.
