Prospects for Stainless Steel in Future Architecture

2004

Hi

I'm doing a degree in Architecture and I'm currently doing a speach about materials what are self healing. So I looked into Stainless steel as I feel it would be appropriate. Can anyone give me some advice on the main topics to cover about stainless steel, its problems, and its future prospects within the construction industry.

Thank you.

Tommy, the Nickel Institute has a lot of literature aimed at getting architects to use stainless steel, so they are in your corner here. Visit www.stainlessarchitecture.org to get some views, some downloads. If you want to address issues, problems, and the like take a gander at the recent letter 32649, regarding coloration of stainless sheet.

Good luck in your studies!
