-----Okay to connect tin plated to silver plated electrical bus?
I have recently worked on a new metal enclosed 15,000 volt switchgear. The switchgear electrical bus is plated with silver at the connections. The older bus coming from the generator is plated with tin. In these high current electrical connections is it okay to connect silver plated copper to tin plated copper.I know silver has a slightly higher conductivity, but I was wondering if the 2 different metals would react adversely.
