Applying Niflor ...?

Respecting to fairly low hardness of this nickel-electroless coating (250-400 V.H.N.)in spite of journals that introduce it as an extremely hard composite , Is niflor suitable for coating the gears under load e.g. in gearboxes ? I know it used in mold cors , pomp rotors , standard nut & bolts and some other precision applications. (without loading!)
