Changing White Gold Ring to Yellow?

I have seen a lot posted here about changing yellow gold to white gold, but is it possible to have a white gold ring changed back to yellow gold, either with plating or some other method?

First of two simultaneous responses --

Certainly. To prevent an early wear of the plating, A fairly thick layer of 14K gold should do the trick for years.

Second of two simultaneous responses --

I suppose you could have another layer of gold plated over your existing ring, this would however be a softer gold and quite likely to scuff and wear away faster than what you have right now. As I have stated in one of my previous posts plating is not my forte, so I'm just going off the basic stuff I remember from high school.

Hello,

letter 33780 talks about this same question a bit, try looking there.
