TGIC powder coatings and cancer cases

Has anyone come across any cases of cancer believed to have been caused by exposure to TGIC /other chemicals used in the last 10 years in the production of powder coatings?

Hi Samantha,

TGIC is not classed as a carcinogen, it is classed as a mutagen (category 2), also as Toxic, Irritant, Sensitising and Dangerous for the environment. (See www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/eis15.pdf)

I do not know of any cases that have come to court in the UK, however this does not mean there has not been any.

Hope this helps
