Accelerated aging tests of stainless steel in chloride environments

2004

I am a student, trying to find standard procedures/tests for accelerated ageing of stainless steel 316 or 316L into chemical solution environments (Chloride mainly). Do the ASM or ASTM have such procedures or where could I find such type of tests? This will allow me to determine the diffusion rate/concentration of chemical elements (principally Ni) on material surface with atomic absorption technique.

Kind regards,
