Phosphate Black vs. Dacromet Black

Kindly note,

We are being quoted the choice of two different types of finishes on a metal clip. One is Phosphate Black and the second one is Dacromet Black.

Can someone/you tell us what these coatings involve, briefly discribe the process and specify if there are any environmental issues with these processes?
