Bar top finishing

(1999)

First of all let me thank you for this web site; Now my problem.

I am building an outdoor bar in my back yard, under a screen in area, and under a tiki top like roof.It will not be exposed to the weather. But it will be exposed to a bunch of drunks having fun in a back yard.I am going to use 3/4 oak plywood for the top with inlay banding along the border.I would like to know if you could recommend a good finish for the top. Something that looks thick.

thank you for your help.
