Pd-Sn solution (activator) necessary for plating on ABS plastics

(1999)

We are looking for the information on how to make Pd-Sn solution (activator) necessary for plating on ABS plastics.

Hi Irwan ,

There is plenty of information out there in publications regarding the Pd - Sn activator you need and I am sure that with the right amount of properly exercised literature searching you will be able to produce your own , but then you will lose the support now so keenly supplied by your "technology supplier" .

If you feel that your current supplier is charging too much for his product then try one of the others , do not begrudge paying for technology that others have spent fortunes developing and supplying to the market place , if you are prepared to "Go it alone" then invest in the Literature search and the scientific research and make your own product , for the few cents per item you save in production costs will not make you any more competitive in the international marketplace at the end of the day , to achieve the cost savings you obviously want to obtain , hire a good metal finishing consultant to review all the areas of production savings you could be making if you were using state of the art equipment & techniques.

Suppliers support the metal finishing industry with both research & technical support , they need and deserve your support
