Removing nickel contamination from Pd and Au solutions

2004

I'm running a NiPdAu plating electronics components,

Solutions used are Ni sulphamate, Potassium Gold cyanide, Palladium Ammonium chloride.

Currently facing that the Ni contents inside Pd and Au bath in increasing trend. I have tried several impurities removal resin, but it also remove Pd and Au in very much.

Can anybody help on providing a way to remove Ni in Pd and Au bath without removing too much precious metal.

It's not easy to get non-precious metals out of aqueous solutions of precious metals, Ng. So much so that a better approach is to have a recirculating D.I. system on the rinse after nickel and before the precious metal
