Economic and environmental friendly technology to paint metal furniture in a third world country

Dear sirs, We are students of industrial engineering at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali, Colombia. At this time we are working in our thesis project. We are researching about more economic and cleaner coating processes for metal furniture. We already know about some technologies such as immersion, electrostatic powder coating and airless spray coating. We will appreciate any help telling us about economic and environmental friendly technologies as well as additional information on the technologies we have mentioned above. Thanks for your help.

Have you considered Autophoretic coatings. They are virtually VOC free. The cost is relatively low.
