Flux in hot dip galvanization

We're working with a double salt ZnCl2 2NH4Cl flux but interventions to control Fe content and acidity drive us to work with unbalanced flux. We've observed a relationship between dross texture and ratio of NH4Cl and ZnCl2 (same drying and galvanizing conditions). We found surveys about flux composition and drying behaviour but nothing about a possible relationship between flux composition and dross texture. Does anyone know anything about this?, any information would be greatly appreciated.
