-----Manual Touchup of Type III Hardcoat
Is there a manual method by which aluminum, i.e. AA6061-T6, can be Type III Hard Coat sulfuric Acid Anodized (MIL-A-8625 / MIL-PRF-8625 [⇦ this spec on DLA]). Specifically, we have anodized extrusions that are then used as part of a truck cab weldment that need to be touched up in areas to replenish the Type III coating. Again, this needs to be a manual method that can be applied in an assembly line environment.

It can certainly be attempted with brush anodizing. Whether this will prove fully satisfactory, however, I don't know. I would suggest you contact brush plating suppliers about it.
If you will be doing brush plating, consider Marv Rubinstein's bible on the subject,
Electrochemical Metallizing.
