-----Large phosphate tank
I'm looking for a supplier that is capable of Phosphating a large piece of hardware. It can either be by immersion, spray or brush. The dimensions are 8.5'L X 8.5'W X 21"H, and it weights 8,000 pounds. The Phosphate will be used as a base for the painting operations.

Garry - You didn't specify what type of phosphating you want done to your part. Suitable conversion coatings for paint pretreatment are generally iron phosphate (can be done in a spray washer or by steam wand) or a calcium modified zinc phosphate that can be done by spray or immersion. Determine your weatherability spec's and then find the appropriate type of finisher. Your part sounds like it may have to be done with a steam wand or immersion-- I haven't seen a spray washer that will hold something that big and heavy. Good luck.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
