Need 1000 hours fastener Coating in Black - GMW3059

2004

Hello, We are a manufacture of custom fasteners we are currently working on a project that requires a 10 mm threaded "U" bolt to be barrel coated in Black for GM. They originally called out GMW 4700, but in Black it is only rated for 480 hours. We are hoping that there is a better coating that will get up to 1000 hours in Black that is compliant to fulfilling GMW3059, GM's Restricted and Reportable Materials For Parts Specification. Our customer must have BLACK and coating Compliant to GMW3059. Is there anything that meets these requirements and exceeds the 480 hours?

Contact Doerken in the US. I believe they offer a multilayer coating that meets GMW3059 and is black.
