Finite element analysis of Shot Peening operation

Sir,

I am a graduate student, I am doing my research on Finite Element Simulation on Shot Peening using Abaqus.

I want to know the procedure to do shot peening to harden a plate with the bombardment of a shperical particle on that.

I will be very thankful to you if you help me out in this.
