SSL for zinc trivalent chromate clear

Dear sir,

One of our overseas customer specifies that " zinc + trivalent chromate clear , coat thk of 4-5 microns. & a SSL of 48 hrs for white rust." the base metal is SAE 1006. we are unable to achieve this ssl of 48 hrs. pl. advice , also pl. do let me know whether this spec / requirement can withstand 48 hrs.

There are bright blue trivalent chromium conversion coatings over zinc plated parts that withstands over 150 hrs of salt spray. The blue bright has more of a clear appearance and might be used for your application if a slight bluish color is acceptable.
