Substitute to powder coating for fuel dispensing units

-----

2004

I want to know the process which is substitute to powder coating, which can take care of aesthetic look of the components and serve the purpose powder coating process on sheet metal components.

We are in the business of manufacturing of fuel dispensing units in India.

Dear Mr Dhanani,

The question is a general one; For hardware parts that directly may contact fuel, you may use Zinc-Nickel plating; for panels / enclosures, your sheet metal components can be CED Coated (E-Coat) and then electrostatically spray painted. Powder coating as you have found out is past its prime.
